Mistakes of Shiite "Infallibles" in the Shiite sources. Mistake of Imam Ali: According to the Shiite belief, Allah granted Imam Ali the Wilayaah. For this reason the Prophet appointed Imam Ali as his successor. He made this declaration during the Ghadeer Kum event. If this was true then Imam Ali should have been firm and pleased with the duty God had prescribed to him. Ironically we find in Najhul Balagha that Imam Ali did not wish to lift the responsibility of leading the Ummah: " I praise God for what He has ordained ..."By Allah, I had no liking for the caliphate nor any interest in government, but you yourselves invited me to it and prepared me for it." [Najhul Balagha ,sermon 204] Why would he dislike a position Allah appointed him to? Why is Imam Ali ignoring the fact that Imamah was his duty but instead he is saying that the People forced him into this? Isn't this a sign of unthankful ness or in other words a mistake uttered by Ali? Think About it. Mistake of Imam Hussein: When Imam Hussein was in Makkah the Kuffians sent him invitations asking him to come to them and assume the title of Caliphate. Finally Imam Hussein decided to leave for Kuffa. Many prominent Sahaba like Abdulla ibn Zubayr, Abdulla ibn Umar, Abdulla ibn Abbas and others advised him to stay and not to trust the Kuffians. They reminded Imam Hussein of the treachery the Kuffians did to his father and brother. Being an Infalliable, why did'nt Imam Hussein stay in Makkah knowingly that the Kuffians would betray him for sure? If the reply is that he already knew what would happen to him because The Prophet told that he would die as a martyr in Karbala then why did he make these three proposals to Ubaidullah ibn Zeyaad that he should either be allowed to return back to Makkah or to travel to Damascus in order to talk with Yazid face to face, or be allowed to go to the border regions of the state in order to engage in Jihad? He should have been firm and prepared to face the enemy. Those proposals are clear signs of helplessness and weakness in the face of Yazid's wolves. Isn't it a mistake done by Imam Hussein? Think about it.
Mistake of Imam Abu Jafar (al-Baqir): We all know that "Muhammad my messenger and `Ali Amir-ul-Mumineen" is not part of the Quranic verse [Quran 7:172], but as you just read, Al Kulyani narrated in his book AlKafi that the Infallible Imam -according to Shia- (Abu Ja`far) said that the verse [Quran 7:172] was revealed by Allah with "Muhammad my messenger and `Ali Amir-ul-Mumineen". Doesn't that exhibit that Imam Abu Jafar is making a mistake?
Mistake of Imam Jaffar as Sadiq: "Narrated to us my
father [ra] saying: Narrated Ahmad bin Idris saying: Narrated to me Muhammad bin
Ahmad, from Musa bin Omar, from Abdallah bin Jablah, from Hanan bin Sudair who
said:
I entered on Abu Abdallah [as] wearing a black shoe, and he said: Why are you
wearing a black shoe? Did you not know there are three characteristics in it?
The narrator said: I said, what are they, may I be your ransom? He [as] said: It
weakens your vision, loosens your penis and brings you depression. On top of
that, it is part of the arrogant apparel. Wear the yellow shoes, for in it is
three characteristics. The narrator said: I said, what are they? He [as] said:
It sharpens the vision, strengthens the penis and puts away the depression, and
furthermore, it is part of the Prophets [as] apparel". al-Khisaal: Ibn Babawaih al-Qummi, Chapter of the Three, narration 50, p.99 This statement has nothing scientific. Either all those who wear black shoes are on medication or the Imam doesn't know what he is talking about Another
Mistake attributed to Imam Ali: "Narrated
Muhammad, from Ahmad bin Muhammad, from Ali bin al-Hakam, from Abdul-Rahman al-'Azramy,
from Abu Abdullah [as] said: Amirul-Mu'mineen (Ali) [as] said:
There are servant (men) of Allah who carry in their loins uteruses like those
of women. (Abu Abdullah) Said: He was asked: Then Why they don't get pregnant?
He (Ali) said: Because it is (placed) upside down. They also have glands in
their anuses like that of the camel, if erupted they erupt with it, and if it
cooled down, they cool down with it." al-Kafi (fil Furoo'): al-Kulainy, Book of Nikaah, Chapter: Who Let Others
Sexually Molest Him, vol.5, p.549, narration 3. |
